If you think that small town America is dead - just visit Canyon Texas on Independence Day. The American Spirit is alive and well and seen on the faces in and watching the annual parade. I chased this hawk from pole to pole until he got tired of flying back and forth. Once he got used to me - I was able to put myself in the right spot - pre-focused and yelled at him and pressed the shutter. It was a good photography day.
